Therapy for Adolescents, Adults, Couples and Families Ready for Real Change
How Inner Balance Therapy Helps You Rewire Anxiety
Real change doesn’t come from talking about your anxiety — it comes from changing the way your mind and body respond to it.
Through evidence-based therapy and experiential approaches, we help high-functioning adults calm the systems that keep them on alert, whether that shows up as anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, or patterns of overuse and emotional escape.
Our approach blends structured, results-focused therapy with depth-oriented work to create movement where insight alone hasn’t. We focus on both sides of the experience: the conscious patterns you can see and the subconscious ones still running in the background.
In sessions, that might look like:
Learning how to recognize early signs of overthinking before it hijacks your focus
Using somatic and cognitive techniques to steady your nervous system in real time
Working with deeper, stored beliefs — through guided imagery or other integrative methods — to release the roots of chronic stress and self-doubt
Each layer reinforces the other. You build practical tools for daily calm while retraining your nervous system to stay there. Over time, the background tension quiets, focus sharpens, and calm starts to feel natural instead of practiced.
Because therapy shouldn’t just help you understand your anxiety. It should help your whole system unlearn it.
The Inner Balance Approach:
Different Paths, Shared Philosophy
At Inner Balance Therapy Group, every clinician brings their own background and specialty, but we’re united by a shared belief: that meaningful change happens when both the mind and body learn safety again.
Our team is trained in approaches that work on multiple levels, cognitive, emotional, and physiological. Whether through evidence-based therapy, somatic work, or hypnotherapy, we focus on helping high-functioning adults retrain the nervous system, ease chronic tension, and rebuild self-trust from the inside out.
Each therapist tailors the process to your specific needs, blending structure with depth so you can experience real calm, not just talk about it. Together, we help clients move beyond managing stress and start living with steadiness.

Hi, I’m Kathy Khorramian, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. My work is rooted in a solution-focused approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Hypnotherapy. I help people shift unhelpful thought patterns, move through life and career challenges, and build lasting, positive habits that support a more meaningful and balanced life.
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked closely with Neurodivergent individuals — including those with Autism, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, stress, and major life transitions such as grief, career changes, and relationship shifts. My goal is to provide practical tools and compassionate guidance while helping you tap into your strengths and see yourself with greater clarity and confidence.
I believe therapy is about more than coping — it’s about growth, self-understanding, and creating a life that truly feels like your own. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make a change, I’m here to help you reauthor your story and move forward with purpose.By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I support clients to reframe destructive thought patterns that affect their negative behaviors , and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in ways to introduce the removal of judgement to breathe through reactions, move through or tolerate emotions, and focus on the here and now.
Experience Therapy That Moves
Real progress doesn't happen by pushing harder. It happens when you learn to move differently.
At Inner Balance Therapy Group, therapy is designed to help you do exactly that: slow the mental noise, steady your nervous system, and reconnect with calm that holds up in real life.
Whether you begin with structured, solution-focused therapy or depth-oriented hypnotherapy, both paths lead to the same place, a version of you that feels grounded, capable, and at ease in your own mind again.
If you’ve been functioning on overdrive for too long, you don’t have to keep managing your way through it.
Frequently Asked Questions
For many of our clients, starting therapy isn’t the first step they’ve taken. It’s the one they finally hope will work. Here are a few questions we often hear from people who are thoughtful, busy, and ready for therapy that actually creates change.
-
Most high-functioning adults don’t need more insight. They need a process that helps them feel different, not just think differently.
At Inner Balance Therapy Group, sessions are concierge-level and results-focused: structured when you need clarity, experiential when you need depth. We use evidence-based approaches that calm the body as well as the mind, helping you experience lasting change that carries into daily life.
-
All sessions are held online and designed to fit into full lives.
You can schedule therapy or hypnotherapy from anywhere in California. No commute, no traffic, no waiting rooms. Many clients find they’re more relaxed and open when they can meet from home or between work commitments. -
It means care that’s as tailored and intentional as you are. You’ll have access to your therapist for coordination and resources, longer or more intensive sessions when needed, and a plan that fits your goals — not an insurance company’s checklist.
The focus is on precision, privacy, and measurable progress.
-
That fear makes perfect sense, especially when holding it all together has become part of your identity.
Therapy here isn’t about taking things apart; it’s about helping your system reset without collapse. You stay in control, supported by therapists who know how to guide strong, capable people through change safely. -
Some clients may notice shifts within the first month, clearer focus, steadier energy, fewer mental loops.
Lasting balance takes longer, but you’ll know therapy is working when daily life feels smoother, not heavier. We track progress collaboratively so you can see (and feel) results as they build. -
If you’ve already done talk therapy and still feel stuck in the same patterns, hypnotherapy can help reach what logic can’t.
If you’ve never tried therapy before, we may start with structured, solution-focused sessions to give you a foundation first. You’ll always have a personalized plan — and both approaches are available online across California and Georgia.

We operate as an out-of-network practice, which allows for greater privacy, flexibility, and depth of care. Therapy is guided by your needs, not insurance session limits or required diagnoses.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we provide superbills for possible reimbursement.
We also partner with Thrizer, a benefits-verification service that can help you check eligibility and estimate reimbursement before starting. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
Many clients prefer this model because it keeps therapy personalized while still allowing them to explore potential reimbursement options.
